» Ellen Page Takes Home 'Best Scared-as-S**t Performance' Award at MTV Movie Awards

While MTV might be better known for its Video Music Awards, the annual Movie Awards draw out tween fans by the millions. It comes as no shock that films like "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" and its stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner dominate the show. One category the film wasn't nominated in was Best Scared-as-S**t Performance. You've got to love MTV for coming up with such creative categories.

Last year, Amanda Seyfried took home the award for her performance in "Jennifer's Body." This year, Ashley Bell, Jessica Szohr, Minka Kelly, Ryan Reynolds, and Ellen Page were all nominated for the award. Personally, I was hoping Ryan Reynolds would win. Not because I think he had the best acting performance, but because I know I'm not the only woman who enjoys the eye candy.

To my slight disappointment, Ellen Page took home the award this year. "Inception" was one of my favorite movies of 2010 and I feel that Page did a brilliant job in the film. In the film, Page plays the doe-eyed rookie looking to join the team for the most difficult task possible: inception. Her drawing and architectural skills gives her character the confidence she needs, but its Page's excellent acting that makes the character real. She held her own while up against the acting skills of Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Leonardo DiCaprio too. During that scene, Page realizes how real and scary living within a dream can be. Her performance was raw, real, and believable.

I was just glad to see a category that didn't go to a "Twilight" actor!
