Woody Allens new Romeantic comedy has so far aligned a-listers including Penelope Cruz, Alec Baldwin, Ellen Page, and Jesse Eisenberg to star. As for casting his young stars, Allen calls Eisenberg remarkable and Page a revelation in their work.
Set to start filming this July in Rome, the Vicky Cristina Barcelona director plans to cast more Italian actors.
Although the storyline is still a blur, (anyone who knows Woodys work knows that he plans to keep his lips sealed) this project is apparently getting more buzz than his upcoming Midnight In Paris, starring Rachel McAdams that's debuting at Cannes next month.
With just revealing the new title to the project The Wrong Picture, Allen shares his love for filming in his favorite metropolitan cities likes New York, Paris, and Barcelona.
"I love these sophisticated cities. It's fantastic to have the possibility to work there, like when I shot 'Manhattan' in New York, 'Match Point' in London and 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' in Barcelona."
