» Ellen Page & Jesse Eisenberg In Woody Allen’s Latest

by Thomas Wadd, published on April 16, 2011

Despite having a recent resume which can be described as patchy at best, Woody Allen is still the kind of director who most actors would kiss a leper to work with. His last film, ‘You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger’, had more stars in it than The Junior Encyclopaedia of Astronomy, and it seems his next film will continue the trend.

Jesse Eisenberg and Ellen Page have just signed up to star in the film which already has Alec Baldwin and Allen fave Penelope Cruz attached to it. Few details are known about the project other than the fact that it will be set in Rome. Over the last decade, Allen has made most of his films in Europe, in some of the continent’s most iconic cities, but this will be the first Rome movie he has made.

The project is still in the early stages as Allen has only just finished his new movie,’ Midnight in Paris’. Like ‘Tall Dark Stranger’ last year, ‘Midnight in Paris’ is set to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.
