Woody Allen is assembling an all-star cast for his next film.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alec Baldwin, The Social Networks Jesse Eisenberg and Ellen Page have just been confirmed for the directors next project.
Penelope Cruz, who won an Oscar for her previous Allen collaboration, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, is also in the cast.
Currently, there are no plot details or even a title for the film, but it is scheduled to start shooting in Rome this summer.
Allen is writing and directing the film and is also planning to appear on screen. He hasnt acted in one of his own movies since 2006s Scoop.
Over the past decade, Allens films have been hit and miss with critics and audiences. He received raves for Match Point and Vicky Cristina Barcelona, but his two most recent projects Whatever Works and You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger have been critical and commercial flops.
His next movie, Midnight in Paris starring Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams, will be the opening film at this years Cannes Film Festival in May.
