» OK! Magazine UK Review - Mouth to Mouth
published on Tuesday, May 6, 2008

What’s it all about?

Juno star Ellen Page plays a teenage drifter, Sherry, who joins a group of homeless young people on a road trip from Berlin. They set up in the country in search of a better life, but Sherry gradually realises that she’s joined a
cult. Can she escape?

What’s good?

A fascinating and chilling insight into life in a cult, this is also an entertaining, darkly funny watch. Ellen Page is on typically edgy form, if more subdued than she was in Juno. And you can feel her pain when her mum Laurie (Wightman) comes to find her – and ends up joining the cult, too!

What’s bad?

Some of the actors are inexperienced, and it shows. Watch out for a couple of very disturbing scenes, too.

OK! verdict: An intriguing, offbeat drama with another top turn from Ellen Page

Rating: 3 out of 5
