Definitely A Great Addition To This Awesome Series by Zach, published on February 12th, 2007 In X-Men 3, a "cure" for the mutant X gene has been discovered, which threatens the very existence of mutants like Magneto (Ian McKellen) and Professor X (Patrick Stewart). The two leaders have opposing viewpoints on the situation: Magneto insists on a violent revolution to stop humans from exterminating their kind, while X prefers tolerance and working with the government on a compromise. But the balance is shifted by the shocking return of Dr. Jean Grey (Famke Janssen), who appeared to die in a great flood at the end of X2: X-Men United. Now she's more powerful than ever as Dark Phoenix, and if Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) can't persuade her not to join Magneto's crew, a war could be at hand. X-Men 3 was just plainly speaking the best X-Men Movie of the three movies. X-Men: The Last Stand had excellent Acting, good Directing, spectacular Special Effects, and great Writing. Now I'd just like to say that these movies have all been very good and perfect but out of all of them I believe that X3 had the best plot/story, but firstly I'd like to start out with the best aspect of the film in my point of view which would have to be a tie between Acting and Special Effects. I believe that the Acting in this movie was superb, Famke did a wonderful job as the Dark Phoenix and Ellen did a great job as Kitty, yes I do also believe that all of the other actors such as Hugh and Halle did magnificent jobs, but I believe that Ellen and Famke stood out the most to me. The Special Effects are another wonderful aspect of this movie, These Special Effects would have to be some of the best I've seen in a very long time, but I'd have to say my favorite action sequences are when Juggernaut is chasing Kitty and when Xavier, Storm, and Wolverine go back to Jean's house to get her to come back to the mansion. I do believe that the Directing was good also but Special Effects and Acting stuck out the most. Oh and don't forget the great Writing, I do believe that this is a VERY good plot/story, the best of all of them. Overall if you liked the first two movies you'll LOVE this one, but even if you didn't like the first two, give this one a chance it's worth your time and money and trust me you WON'T be disappointed Rating: 5 out of 5 Source: www.matchflick.com |
