Happy Canada Day! / Recording of the LA press conference for »Inception« / More TV spots and cast interviews

First I wish all Canadians a very Happy Canada Day! 1st July marks the day in 1867 when the first of the colonies were joined together as a federation of four provinces (the original partners in crime being Nova Scotia, Ontario, New Brunswick and Quebec). It is celebrated as the 'birth' of Canada as a new country. Hope you all will enjoy the day with family and friends!

On Friday morning last week, journalists and critics got their first official look at »Inception«. ComingSoon.net and Hollywood News attended a press conference in Los Angeles and joined that lucky group of reporters to ask members of the cast and crew questions about the film. In attendance were director Christopher Nolan, producer Emma Thomas, composer Hans Zimmer and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Marion Cotillard, Tom Hardy, Ken Watanabe and Cillian Murphy. They spoke at length about the challenges and opportunities they tackled in the process of making Inception, but also tried not to give away too much. Most of the questions were about the actor's experience working on the set and working with Christopher Nolan, so there are only minor spoilers in my opinion. You can now listen to the event here.

The TV spots #14, #15 and #16 (I don't know their official titles yet) have been added to the website, along with some new cast interviews by Access Hollywood and ET Online. The three spots are just as exciting and action-packed as the handful before. Hopefully there’s some surprises left when the movie finally hits theaters hits theatres in two weeks. To quote Leonardo DiCaprio: »Much of the appeal of this movie is going to be the surprise element and not knowing what to expect. I can't wait for people to see it.« By the way, I still have a few videos on my to do list, so expect this post to be edited a few times.
