Loved your movies, key word being Loved. Since you have decided to go the way of others in Hollywood and run your mouth in the Political ring with which you know of nothing. Typical hate to down someone. Why can't you all just sing and act and just shut up. Well, we had been fans of Miss Page from her movie "Juno" and then "Inception." But we just heard her open her mouth and spew out the typical hateful liberal political rhetoric. Although it is not unusual for Hollywood people to be such mindless lemmings and fairly brainless, it makes a difference when they go out of their ways to bring up politics when it was not the subject. We are no longer fans and we threw away our copy of "Juno" and will not be seeing again or buying 'Inception" as we had planned. We choose to not spend any of our money on anything that Ellen is in.

Ellen on »Friday Night with Jonathan Ross« / »Inception« press conference and premiere in Paris from 07/12/2010

On the evening of the »Inception« world premiere in London, Ellen didn't have much time to enjoy the special event and the closing after party. Directly after the screening she went, accompanied by her publicist Kelly Bush, to Studio TC4 in the BBC Television Centre, where »Friday Night with Jonathan Ross« is made. While waiting for her first appearance in a British talk show, she shared the green room with British comedian Jimmy Carr, the eccentric magicians Penn & Teller and music legend Sir Tom Jones. During the conversation with host Jonathan Ross, the Canadian actress revealed that she has left the haunted former brothel and moved to a smaller apartment in Halifax. Speaking about »Inception« she mentioned her fellow co-star Tom Hardy got papped teaching her to fight on the set, which is actually funny because "it looked like he was beating up a little girl." She also briefly talked about »Mouth to Mouth« which was partially filmed in London. If you missed it, watch the video below!

The next morning the whole »Inception« team headed up to Paris in order to attend another press conference held at the Hôtel Le Bristol. Thanks to my French friends Florian Lapôtre over at Filmgeek.fr and Mathieu Crucq, who runs cineshow.fr, we have some great photos and a full length video of this event. The clue is the clip has two channels of audio. On the left you can listen to the cast, Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas and the moderator and on the right to the French translation of their answers. I left the translator audio track because Marion Cotillard preferred to speak in her native language, which means you get an English translation on the right speaker when she talks. If you don't want to hear both tracks at the same time, I suggest to use the audio controls of your media player or operating systems to switch between the channels. Please keep in mind that there are a few spoilers because some press representatives had already seen the movie.

On the following day they all showed up at Gaumont Champs Elysees for the Paris premiere of their movie. Unfortunately, most of the photographers only had eyes for Leonardo DiCaprio and the local beauty, so there aren't many photos of Ellen.

”There is no denying this is a spectacular film, with amazing special effects and great performances from the cast. In a summer filled with vacuous popcorn movies, this is a sci-fi flick that is both exciting and intelligent. If anything that is one of the film's faults – it is a bit too cerebral, and for a movie about dreams, too logical. Nolan is, without doubt, a great filmmaker of almost technical perfection, but his films, and this one in particular, are a little dry, controlled and contrived, with a lack of a real emotional core. Even the love story between Cobb and his wife (Marion Cotillard) doesn't feel real: or maybe that too is part of the dream. In comparison with other movies showing at the same time, INCEPTION has amazing action set-pieces, but they are not a patch on the shameless, balls-out action of PREDATORS; the speculative science isn't quite as believable as that in SPLICE, which has the added advantage of not taking itself too seriously either; and it doesn't have the fantasy or emotional impact of TOY STORY 3." ... And much like the Keanu Reeves film, I want to see “Inception” again. If you’re thinking that “Inception” is too cerebral for your taste, think again.
